He did push his pants off and leave them in a bloody heap before leaving the bedroom. He went just across the hall to a rather creepy bathroom with a chipped sink and a mirror that was literally shattered.

"Here, lean over the sink," he said, running the water and grabbing a sponge. "I think this one is a bit deep, but I need to clean it up."
