It was weird hearing his first name from anyone, too. Even Spirit had always called him Stein. But he knew Vanessa seemed to have a...thing for calling people by their first name and it was sort of nice to be counted amongst that group.
He slipped his arms more tightly around her and returned the hug.
"Medusa...is the one I made the body for," he said, by way of explanation. "The Kishin is a sort of evil god creature that's turning the whole world crazy - starting with me, apparently. That's why the sky was so red when you arrived, though you might not have noticed given the moon."
He pressed a kiss to her hair. "For the most part, I'm managing. I had a break just now mostly because of Eris' influence. The Goddess of Chaos on the community thought it would be fun to speed up the process, I guess."
