Birkin nodded slowly. At least he had some idea of what happened now. He knelt down and grabbed Stein's discarded labcoat, shaking it slightly to get any shards of glass off it before handing it back to its owner. "The sooner we get you out of here the better." Between how pale and cold he was and his near-constant desire to hurt himself one way or another, not to mention the unsettling laugher, Birkin's paranoia was skyrocketing. Or maybe this time he shouldn't even consider it paranoia; his fears were actually founded in something.
"I'll make this better," he said as he started walking out of the lab. "So don't even worry about it. This is just a minor, temporary issue." As much as Birkin believed he could probably do something about it, he could stop his voice from wavering slightly as he spoke. "I'm sure you'll feel better as soon as you get out of your world, anyway."
