Stein all but shrugged off Birkin's attack, then reeled at Adachi's much more powerful wind attack. He wasn't all that weak to elemental attacks, though. Perhaps one of them should try poison or fear.

His upside-down face glared and he threw his arms out wide. "Now now, this won't hurt a bit," he sneered. "Just get on the table and let me examine you."

Weapons appeared in several of the monstrosity's hands and he shambled forward, slashing the blades at Birkin.
