Stein had no intention of attacking first, and though he took note of Kid's tension as they moved close, he himself didn't tense in return.

At Kid's question, he gave a soft sigh. "This isn't my world, Kid. It's not my business what happens here. I'm no superhero running around policing other worlds, regardless of the fact that I'm living here right now. If Wesker wants to do this, it's these people who live here who are supposed to stop him, and I wouldn't ask them to help us with our problems, either."
