"You liked beating the crap outta me, that's what!"

At least he'd said that the following tests wouldn't be so terrible, but it was still hard to believe after taking what felt like a cement block to the gut. And worse, hearing that the doctor had actually enjoyed doing it. What the heck kind of physician liked watching people in pain? Wasn't the whole point of their job to fix it?

"... The next tests aren't gonna be like that, right?" he grumbled, hoping for some solid reaffirmation. He didn't feel like getting his ass kicked for a third time that day.
