Stein was standing exactly where he had been standing when he told Junpei to attack him. He straightened out of his fighting stance and tapped ash onto the ground then put his cigarette back into his mouth.

"That was a punch," he said blandly. "What you did was a limp-wristed slap."

He smirked. "Oh, did I fail to mention that I'm the best fighter in the city? Come at me again. If we can get that power to manifest, we will."
