The environment looked cold enough as it was without there being straps on the table. He did like the look of the straps. Even if he was raised to endure torture it didn't mean he liked pain, and he had plenty of bad memories involving being tied down.

"I don't want to be strapped down," he paused at the entrance way, "Not during the surgery, either."

That was one thing he didn't want to deal with.
