Dr. Stein! [she rushes right to the point] It's Willow. Um, I didn't get his name, but-- someone you know, from your world, he's kind of in a sticky situation and needs your help. Like, pronto, I'm thinking. There's a post on the community.

[He sighs] You're talking about Death the Kid, and yes, I know.

If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears.

I don't really know the situation, [she says hesitantly.] And I'd just be a sitting duck if I went and tried to help. The most I can do is - is try to do a locating spell if you need to find him, or tell you to ask Spike for backup if you need a fighter.

[He pauses for a moment, closing his eyes. The locator spell sounds incredibly tempting. When he speaks, his voice is calm and even, reassuring but serious.]

The problem we have is that so long as Kid is part of Noah's collection, he is reasonably safe. But anyone who goes in there without a plan will probably get slaughtered, and Kid might be hurt, too.

We're working on a plan from our end, Willow. Though if you can find his physical location in our world, that would be helpful.

do you guys want her spell to succeed or fail? either would be IC for her

[She listens carefully, then says promptly,] I can do that. I'll need an object of his, the more personal a connection the better, and a map of your world.

It shouldn't take me more than an hour once I have them. It - it might not work, but I'll try.

Success would be interesting and wouldn't derail things, I think XD

I'll see what I can do about finding something personal of his. I assume a person would be inconvenient? I could probably get you his guns, you see.

[ooc: OKAY SO, just for reference on how the spell will go, I'm assuming it'd be something like that she did in 7x01. She'd take the map and make some incantation to a goddess of lost people, then sprinkle sand over it, and wherever Kid is will light up. Then it'll be marked with a sharpie and the map handed over to Stein for him to do what he wants with it. :>]
